I bought this “acrylic soap beveller” a while ago. It’s for trimming the edges of handmade soaps into various patterns. The bevelled soaps became very beautiful and the value of them increased.

The machine contains 1 working panel + 1 box + 12 metal blades + 12 acrylic blades. The working panel is designed to be used on both side.

There are 12 metal blades and a set of the same acrylic accessories included, but I think the metal ones perform better.

Let's start demonstrating with the square soaps. Put the blades in position and lock the two screws by hand. The depth of the bevelled edges are adjustable by the position of the blade

You may lay down the soap like this and gently push it along the slide rail to bevel the edges. It’s your choice to bevel it on 2 sides or 4 sides.

You may also stand the soap like this and gently push it along the slide rail to work. There are some blades that have very special effects, I will show some more photos at the end of the article for your reference.

The trimmed crumbs will fall directly into the box, so the working place will not be too messy. I like this ingenuity.

Now, flip the panel to demonstrate working on round soaps. There is no slide rails on this side. The soap will be rotated manually against two transparent pillars. I think it’s better to let the soap dry for more than 3-5 days before beveling. It's hard to handle with the soft soaps.

Again, lock the two screws by hand and adjust the depth of the bevelled edges with the position of the blade.

The trimmed crumps also fall into the box through this hole, so that the working table is kept clean.

After use, the blades can be removed and washed, and the machine be wiped with a damp cloth. It is OK to wash the machine if it’s really dirty, but make sure to dry it as soon as possible.

Finally I have taken some photos of the bevelled results of the 12 different edges. Some of them have different effects when they are bevelled lying down or standing up.

For storage, just put the slide rail down inside the acrylic box, and it can be easily stored on the shelf or in the drawer. Outer dimention: 23*16*11cm

I only use single blade in a soap for above photos, you may try to combine different shapes with your endless creativity. There will be more sparks and more surprises! Look forward to see your beautiful soaps soon.
